About Dr Andy Eaton
GP, Medical Educator & Founder
Dr Andy Eaton is a Somerset GP and medical educator with over 28 years experience in primary care, including extensive in-hours and out-of-hours work. He was a GP Trainer for almost 20 years and, through this role and his work as a Training Programme Director in Somerset, and an educator with the Support for Performance in Exams Programme across the South West (SPEX programme), has supported countless trainees in achieving success in the CSA, RCA and, more recently, the SCA.
In 2016, Andy founded Tempus Education and Training and has since worked with a large number of GP Education Trusts, NHS education organisations and out-of-hours providers across the South West and beyond. He delivers and facilitates training on a wide range of topics, including consultation skills, leadership, and educator development programmes.
Away from medicine, when he is not working, teaching or out on his bike, he enjoys exploring Somerset and beyond with his family, and as his 2 "boys" get older, they provide a constant reminder of just how much energy he used to have!
